I real realize as each day passes how quickly this amazing life is passing by. My youngest is already 3 years old! I feel like he was a baby yesterday. He says and does some of the funniest things and while I have great intentions to record all of this, I don't. My oldest is going to turn 9 in June! NINE! He is an amazing kid and I want to remember as much of this time as I can. Then there is my sweet Annabella, she will be 7 on Sunday. That seems almost impossible.
So much happens on a daily basis around here, from sports to school work, playing, fighting, chores, etc. In the moment these things sometimes feel overwhelming but I know there will come a time in my life when I will long for all this activity and confusion. I scrapbook a lot of the big moments but not as many little moments which will be the ones that are hard to remember. So, next week I will be working on a project called A Week in the Life with Ali Edwards. I tried this last year but didn't follow through. This year I WILL finish it and I will use this blog to help me!
My goal is to continue recording all the little and big things that go on around here after I FINISH this project. I want to remember it all. I want to make sure I enjoy it all NOW and never look back wishing I took more time with my kids.
