I didn't get as many pictures as I would have liked because I woke up with a yucky head cold and felt pretty bad. Moms don't get the day off when they are sick so I still went about my day but took a lot less pictures than I normally would have!
Woke up at 5:30 and went downstairs to meet my morning date...the
dishwasher:) I try to get this unloaded first thing because if I don't,
it hangs over my head until I do. It literally takes less than 5
minutes but for some reason it is my least favorite thing to do around
the house. I would rather clean a toilet, weird, I know.
Once I did my dishwasher duties, had my coffee and enjoyed my few
minutes of silence I woke the kids up and fed them breakfast. Their new
favorite breakfast is an english muffin (or 2). After they ate, they got
dressed, did hair, brushed teeth and were all ready for school!
Anderson woke up on his own right before I needed to take them so it
worked out great.
After we got Aiden and Annabella off to school it was breakfast time for
Mr. Anderson. I love and cherish my mornings alone with him. Since I
didn't feel well we snuggled for a while and watched some Mickey Mouse
Club House. He's my little snuggle bug and kept cupping my face in his
hands saying, "My Mommy." It doesn't get any better than that.
Once I was feeling a little more human we got up and did some of our
usual things. I worked on our dinner menu for the week, laundry etc.
and Anderson played with some play dough and sink bubbles. Notice the
face he is making while cutting the play dough. I love his cutting
face:) Such concentration.
The kids got home from school around 2:20. They had a snack did
homework and then had a little down time. We had to leave at 3:30 for
gymnastics so Aiden went to my my friend, Debbie's house and Annabella,
Anderson and I headed to the YMCA. We dropped Bella off and went to do
some grocery shopping. Picked Bella up at 5, went home, ate dinner and
headed back out the door for Aiden's first baseball practice. He loved
it! I love watching him play sports, he really enjoys it.
We got home around 8 from practice. I got everyone ready for bed, left my house a disaster and got in bed myself. Anderson was not ready for bed after all the down time we had during the day so he ended up in my bed until 11pm and we took some silly pictures:) It was my favorite part of the day.
So this was my Monday. Wish I felt better but this is real life and this is what I captured.

Love the dinner menu idea! I need to do that.
